Columbian Financial Group selects FIS Software’s Flagship Policy Administration System, ALIS!

FIS is pleased to announce that in December 2007 it kicked off an ALIS implementation project with its first US customer. ALIS will be at the core of a strategic initiative to modernize and consolidate the client's legacy systems. All components of ALIS will be deployed including quotation, illustrations, electronic application, underwriting, reinsurance, billing and collections, customer service and claims. ALIS Agency Management system will also be deployed for managing the company's distribution partners including licensing and apppointments, commissions and statements. ALIS is planned to go live later in 2008 and to be followed by the first conversion of a 100,000 policies. The formal announcement is planned for March 2008

September 9-11, 2007 – FIS attended the NAVA Annual Meeting conference in Boston. This was the first U.S. conference where FIS showcased its policy administration system, ALIS, for the first time on North America.

– FIS CEO, Shay Alon appoints Ron Karam EVP of North America Operations. The appointment follows more than a year of preparation in getting FIS and ALIS, its flagship product, ready for the U.S. and Canadian markets. The entry into the North American market is the next step in the company’s long-term market expansion strategy.
