Shay was appointed as CEO in January 2005 to grow the company into a global leader of software solution for Life & Pension institutions. Companies in 11 countries now entrust their policy administration to FIS’ software solutions. Under Shay’s leadership, FIS established a comprehensive partnership and alliances programme to serve growing industry demands and to support our global growth. Shay sponsored a CMMI assessment which resulted in our operational processes being certified at CMMI level three.

Recent activities include development of SaaS & BPO business models and innovative adaptation of new technology, such as utilising mobile devices for both Micro Insurance and the upper-end market. Shay continues to focus FIS on helping clients to meet their business objectives successfully through on-going investment in our core product’s functional and technological capabilities.

In response, industry analysts have identified FIS as one of the best world-wide solution providers, providing an independent endorsement of our strategy.

Prior to Shay’s appointment as CEO, he was the Managing Director of FIS-EU, with specific responsibility to set up the FIS UK business strategy and implementation plans. He took a leadership role in the development of the company’s flagship product and our service offering to the market.

Ron was appointed Executive Vice President of the North American operation in February 2007 and has successfully established FIS as a leading provider of software solutions to the US and Canadian Life Insurance and Annuity markets. With more than 20 years' experience in building and maintaining long lasting client/partner relationships, Ron's success is the result of consistently delivering technology solutions that exceed business benefit expectations. Prior to FIS, Ron enjoyed a successful nine-year long career with NaviSys as a member of the executive team. Previously, Ron was with ITT Industries for 16 years providing strategic systems to the U.S Department of Defense.

Nigel joined FIS in 2006 and is responsible for UK and European Business Development within the FIS Management team. He works with new and existing customers, helping them to benefit from FIS products and services. Nigel has been working within the UK Life and Pensions industry for the past 20 years and brings a wealth of commercial and solution expertise gained from leading IT services and software companies focused on the insurance sector. Prior to joining FIS, Nigel spent 5 years with IBM maintaining and extending client business relationships within leading Life and Pensions companies.

Kym Gully was appointed Chief Technology Officer for FIS in August 2008. Kym is primarily focused on working closely with existing and potential clients at an executive level, ensuring that ALIS, our flagship policy system, remains a competitive and flexible technology offering. Such an externally focused position ensures that ALIS is always at the forefront of our customers' sustainable, technological road maps – helping them achieve maximum return on investment from the ALIS system. In addition to this pivotal role, internally, Kym has responsibility for IT governance and infrastructure service delivery operations across FIS .
With a career span of over 20 years at a senior management level, 15 years of which have been spent within the IT industry, Kym brings a wealth of technology expertise to the executive team. He is responsible for the strategic roadmap of the ALIS platform; and with his extensive knowledge and capabilities, gained from design and implementation of business system architectures, Kym is a lead contributor in the areas of product and content definition. His track record is of providing for application longevity and business success across financial institutions.
